You can reach the yurt de la Draye by taking a very romantic path lined with oak and box trees, very typical of Mediterranean mountains. On the hillside, among box trees, the yurt de la Draye offers you a beautiful view on the Roche Grande mountain and the rocky outcrops dominated by high mountain pastures. This yurt is located about 250m uphill from the farm. A compost toilet is available nearby.
Thus yurt was named after the track made by wild animals (chamois, roe deers …) and that can be found nearby. "Draye": this word comes from the Occitan language and means "track". It usually means the most natural path taken by the herds on their way to the mountain summer pastures. This word has now specialised in the meaning of "track", "transhumance path".
The prices are identical for each yurt. Accommodation for children under 2 years is free of charge. 5% discount on the renting price for stays of 2 weeks or more. 7% discount if the booking is made 90 days in advance (deposit of 50%). 10% discount if both booking and payment 90 days in advance. Note: Accumulated discounts are limited to 12%.
